Origin/Culture/Country: RomanianMaia Morgenstern: is a Romanian film and stage actress,[1] described by Florin Mitu of AMOS News as "a symbol of Romanian theater and film".[2] In the English-speaking world, she is probably best known for the role of Mary, the mother of Jesus, in Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ. In Romania, she has been nationally known since her 1992 role as Nela in Balanta, a film known in the United States as The Oak, set during the waning days of Communist Romania.[1]

Maia Hirasawa,
Origin/Culture/Country: JapaneseMaia Hirasawa,: is a Swedish-Japanese singer-songwriter. She was born and raised in Sollentuna, but has lived for some years in Gothenburg. Maia became known through Annika Norlin's band Hello Saferide, where she is a back-up singer. Her solo career began in early 2007 when the song "And I Found This Boy" started being played heavily on Swedish radio. The single was followed up by the album "Though, I'm Just Me" and the single "Gothenburg". During the summer of 2007 she toured around Sweden, playing at such shows as Allssng ps Skansen, Hultsfredsfestivalen, Peace & Love and Arvika Festival.
