Shu Chang: is a Chinese footballer who is a defender for Shandong Luneng. He is the captain of Shandong Luneng from 2006 where he has lead them to two China Super League titles in 2006 and 2008. Shu started his career in 1996 with Shandong Luneng where in his first season he would make 3 league appearances, which was then followed by a further 7 the following season. After having a successful league season with Shandong Luneng Shu was given his chance to impress the Chinese Head coach Bora Milutinovic in a friendly against Hong Kong on April 25, 2000 in a 1-0 victory

Shu Junrong: is a Chinese slalom canoer who has competed since the mid 2000s. He was eliminated in the semifinals of the C-2 event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Zhao Shu: was the fifth emperor of the Song Dynasty of China. His personal name was originally Zhao Zongshi but he later changed it to Zhao Shu. He reigned from 1063 to 1067. His temple name means "Outstandingly Talented Ancestor". In 1055 the Emperor Renzong fell ill and as he had no surviving sons there was a threat to the succession. Under prompting from his Court officials Renzong agreed to bring two boys, sons of Imperial clansmen, into the palace.

Wang Shu: is a Chinese architect based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He is the dean of the School of Architecture of the China Academy of Art. In 2012, Wang became the first Chinese citizen to win the Pritzker Prize, the world's top prize in architecture. In 1997, Wang Shu and his wife Lu Wenyu, also an architect, founded the firm Amateur Architecture Studio. They chose the name as a rebuke of the "professional, soulless architecture" practiced in China, which they believe has contributed to the large-scale demolition of many old urban neighborhoods. In 2000, Wang designed the Library of Wenzheng College at Soochow University, which won the inaugural Architecture Art Award of China in 2004. His Five Scattered Houses in Ningbo won the Holcim Award for Sustainable Construction in the Asia Pacific in 2005.
