František Xaver Dušek: was a Czech composer and one of the most important harpsichordists and pianists of his time.Dušek was taught on the harpsichord in Vienna by Georg Christoph Wagenseil and established himself around 1770 in Prague as a successful keyboard teacher. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was his guest in his Villa Bertramka in Kosire, just outside Prague, and finished at least two of his major works there: in 1787 the opera Don Giovanni and probably also La clemenza di Tito in 1791. Dušek was one of the teachers of Mozart's son Karl Thomas Mozart, who became a gifted pianist, although he did not pursue a career in music.

František Kmoch: was a Czech composer and conductor.In 1868 he was studying at the Teachers College in Prague, and by 1869 he had become a teacher in Suchdol, Bohemia. In addition to his occupation as a teacher, he zealously performed in several ensembles, continued to develop himself as a conductor, and composed. In 1873 he was excluded from further assignment as an instructor, allegedly because he had neglected his teaching duties, preferring instead to appear with performing ensembles at balls. It has been suggested, however, that the dismissal was a political decision, since Kmoch did not conceal his sympathies for the nationalistic Sokol athletic movement.

František Kocvara: was a Czech violist[1], virtuoso double bassist[2] and composer. He is perhaps more famous for the notorious nature of his death. [2]The only piece of his to have achieved renown is The Battle of Prague, a composition based on the 1757 Battle of Prague, in which the Kingdom of Prussia fought Austria. The Battle of Prague was a popular piece of music during the late 18th and 19th centuries, with Mark Twain mentioning the piece in his book A Tramp Abroad. [3] A similar piece, The Siege of Quebec, often attributed to Kotzwara, is probably an arrangement by de Krift using assorted materials of Kotzwara.

František Ondrícek: was a Czech violinist and composer. He gave the first performance of the Violin Concerto by Antonín Dvorák, and his achievements were recognised by the rare award of honorary membership of the Philharmonic Society of London (now the Royal Philharmonic Society) in 1891.Ondrícek was born in Prague, the son of the violinist and conductor Jan Ondrícek. He studied at the Prague Conservatory under Antonín Bennewitz, and was then supported by Henryk Wieniawski through two years studying at the Paris Conservatoire, where he gained a first prize.

František Cáp: was a Czech film director and screenwriter. He directed 32 films between 1939 and 1970.In 1941 at the Venice Film Festival he won a commendation from the jury for his film Nocní motýl (The Moth). At the Cannes Film Festival in 1946 he won the grand prize for his film Muži bez krídel (Men without Wings). In 1954 and 1955 at the Yugoslav Film Festival in Pula he won the "Golden Arena" award for best film. In 1956 Cáp shot one of his best-known films, Die Geierwally (Wally the Vulture), based on the novel by Wilhelmine von Hillern, in Germany.
