Amrani Surname or First Name?

I am confused on Amrani. Is it a surname or first name? What is the meaning and origin of Amrani if it is a surname or first name? I have seen lots of stuffs on Armani but still confused?

Your confusion is quite obvious because sometime it can be used as first name sometime it can be used as surname too. But if we talk about general opinion mostly this name is used as name instead of surname .The name Armani has different- different meaning according to origin like in Germanic origin its meaning is Freeman, in Italian origin its meaning is also Freeman, in American origin its meaning is American women. It can be used for both gender male and female ,its popularities is average.
