    Hi Tripti,

The baby name Janmejay is Sanskrit in origin and its meaning is “Victorious from birth” or “Great Lord”. It is pronounced as jan-may-jay and suitable for a boy baby name.

In the Mahabharat, Janmejay was a Hindu King of the Pandava, great-grandson of Arjun and son of King Parikshit ,Known as the historical figure who did a nag yagya and killed all snakes to seek revenge of his father's death due to a snake bite.
