Wolfgang Laib: is a German conceptual artist working predominantly with natural materials. His work may be grouped with Land Art and he shows influences of Minimalism. He employs natural materials, such as beeswax and rice. Most notable is his use of large quantities of intense, yellow pollen that he collects by hand, then spreads over large areas of floor or piles to conical heaps. He also became famous for his so-called "milk stones": big blocks of marble into which very shallow depressions are sanded, then filled with milk.

Wolfgang Scheidel            Origin/Culture/Country: German

Wolfgang Scheidel: is an East German former luger who competed from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s. He won the gold medal in the men's singles event at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo. Scheidel also won three medals at the FIL World Luge Championships with one gold in the men's doubles (1965) and two bronzes in the men's singles (1969, 1970). He won a pair of silver medals in the men's singles event at the FIL European Luge Championships (1970, 1971).

Wolfgang Staudinger: is a West German luger who competed from 1978 to 1989. Together with Thomas Schwab he won the bronze medal in the men's doubles event at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. Staudinger also won a bronze medal in the men's doubles event at the 1987 FIL World Luge Championships in Igls, Austria. He also won two gold medals at the 1988 FIL European Luge Championships in Königssee, West Germany (Men's doubles and mixed team). Staudinger won the overall Luge World Cup men's doubles title in 1986-7.
