Eva Koppel: was a Danish architect who together with her husband Nils ran one of Denmark's largest architectural firms (KKET, later KKE). She married the architect Nils Koppel in 1936 and together they worked in Alvar Aalto's studio in Finland (1938–1939) and later joined him in Stockholm 1943–1945) before establishing their own studio in 1946. Initially, they designed simply styled single-family homes including Henning Koppel's house in Birkerød and their own home in Gentofte (1946] which is listed. Their breakthrough came with Langeliniepavillonen (the Langelinie Pavilion) in 1957. They were subsequently known for their large public buildings and restoration projects including the Hans Christian Ørsted Institute (1955–1962) in Copenhagen, the Technical University of Denmark in Lundtofte (1961–1975), the Panum Institute, Copenhagen (1966–1986) and the South Campus of the University of Copenhagen on Amager (1972–1979). All these buildings were designed in the Brutalist style. In addition, they contributed to the Statens Museum for Kunst (1966–1970).

Herman David Koppel: was a composer and pianist of Jewish origin. Born in Copenhagen, he fled the Nazis with his family in 1943. He wrote 13 symphonies, numerous concertos, and 20 string quartets.

Anders Koppel: was a co-founder in 1967 of the rock group Savage Rose. Since 1976, he has been a member of the trio Bazaar. He also plays in the trio Koppel-Andersen-Koppel which includes his son, saxophone player Benjamin Koppel. Koppel has twice received the Robert for best film score (1994 and 1996). Koppel has composed music for eight ballets for the New Danish Dance Theatre and music for more than 150 movies, 50 theatrical plays and three musicals. Koppel has composed over 90 works for classical ensembles, chamber music and 20 concertos, among them two saxophone concertos and four marimba concertos. He played the piano as a child with his father, composer Herman D. Koppel and later clarinet with several television and concert appearances. He began playing the organ in 1966.

Thomas Koppel: was a versatile Danish classical music and avant-garde popular composer and musician. Thomas Koppel became a classical pianist and composer. He wrote string quartets, a piano concerto, operas, cantatas, a ballet, symphonies and other orchestral works. At age 18 he completed his first opera The Story of a Mother, based on a tale by Hans Christian Andersen. Koppel composed the score in 1971 for the ballet Dødens Triumf (Triumph of Death) which was danced naked at the Royal Danish Theatre.
