Ayman Hariri – Saudi Arabian Leader

One of the most dominant figures in the construction sector is the Deputy Chairman and CEO of Saudi Oger, Ayman Hariri, who is the second youngest son of the former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri. He is running the largest construction company in Saudi Arabia, as well as, being in charge of the Hariri family fortune.

Hariri is very hands on with the major infrastructure projects in the kingdom, from the King Abdullah University for Science and Technology to the King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, even the first privately-financed airport in the kingdom – the Madinah Airport. However, the construction sector has been facing a big problem, as the lower oil prices have impacted the revenues in the kingdom in many ways.

In fact, Hariri’s company Saudi Oger is now being investigated by the Labor Ministry, as there are claims that it has not been paying its staff. Despite the allegations and the investigation of the financial situation of the company, Hariri’s reputation will survive. As he has a deep knowledge of the construction sector and is an executive with much to offer. In 2016, Hariri was named one of the 100 most influential young Arabs in the world by Arabian Business.
