Date 2017-01-19

Back in 2011, Jawad Nabulsi stood up to the Hosni Mubarak regime and was shot in the eye. However, as soon as he felt better he found an eye patch and decided to use his entrepreneurial skills for good. During the first uprising in Egypt, he launched the Nebny Foundation that provides medical assistance to many people.

He was also awarded the Khalil Gibran Spirit of Humanity Award in 2011.

Now residing in America, he had been attending Harvard University to complete his master’s degree in Public Administration which he completed in 2015. Before he graduated he co-authored an article titled “A Call for Tolerance and Understanding” after the massacre of three Muslim students in Chapel Hill. In 2016, Arabian Business named Nabulsi one of the 100 most influential young Arabs in the world.
