Babies in the womb just don’t sit idle, they are doing so much in learning within the mom. They are learning to move their fingers, limbs, toes, sucking their thumb. At times, they are dreaming and yawning etc.

When a baby is of age lesser than six months, repeated things occur to him as the same things. After the age of six months, the baby starts understanding the same thing occurring again and again is different.

When new born babies are born, their hearing power is not complete i.e. 100%. The middle ear of the infant is filled with fluid which makes only partial hearing possible. Also, they are able easily able to recognize the voice of their mother.

Normally people cannot breathe and or swallow at the same time, whereas babies are able to swallow as well as breathe at the same time. Hence now you know why a baby is able to drink milk that fast and breathe quickly at the same time.

When babies are born, they can swim naturally. Babies also have the ability to hold their breath for a while. Unfortunately, they lose the ability of holding breath when they start growing up.
