Gal Gadot Reveals Love Interest

The new Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, has revealed that she is bisexual and would like to have Halle Berry as her love interest in the sequel. Gadot didn’t even hesitate when she was asked on an interview who her love interest would be.

Gadot was on the Israeli talk show, “Good Night with Guy Pines,” and spoke about her character in the upcoming Wonder Woman film. She was also straightforward when speaking about her sexuality and love interest.

Gadot is Israeli-born and according to Batman News, a comic site, she stated in Hebrew that Halle Berry is beautiful in person. She could definitely seeing herself being romantically involved with her.

Wonder Woman’s sexuality in not talked about in next year’s film but it may become a theme in the sequel. In fact, Greg Rucka, the DC comic writer confirm that the Amazonian warrior princess was in fact queer.

Many people believed that Wonder Woman, or Diana Price, was gay. Rucka confirm all the rumors and stated is was because of where she lived, as her home island – Themyscira – has banned men. Rucka told Comicosity, that the only logical explanation is that all the people on Themyscira are in same-sex relationships.

The feminine name Gal in Hebrew means “wave”, while her surname Gadot means “riverbanks”. There are many notable people with the name, from Gal Mekel the Israeli National Basketball Association player or Gal Fridman the windsurfer and the first ever Israeli to win an Olympic Gold Medal. Now the list will include Gal Gadot the Israeli model and actress.
