Mitch McConnell Talks with Trump

The president-elect Donald Trump was discussing the many policy changes he intends to make in the first 100 days of his presidency with Mitch McConnell. This happened just after his first meeting with the current President - Barack Obama.

The transition into the White House for Trump is just beginning and he has big plans. Trump and the next first lady Melania took a tour of Capitol Hill. They went along with the Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Speaker Paul Ryan, and Vice President-elect Mike Pence. Afterward, they had a short meeting held at the Speaker’s office about the new policy priorities.

When talking with McConnell, Trump pointed out three specific priorities that would be on the table during the first 100 days of his presidency. These priorities include 1) Jobs, 2) Healthcare and the repeal of Obamacare, and 3) Immigration and border security.
