Morgan Spurlock Opens Fast-Food Restaurant

The actor from the documentary Super Size Me, Morgan Spurlock has opened a fast food restaurant but it is not what it appears to be. The restaurant will be called Holy Chicken! - but it will have a twist being a more humane restaurant.

Spurlock’s restaurant will promote their free-range chicken that is free of hormones and antibiotics to highlight the illusion in the industry that companies are actually following the regulations. When customers enter the restaurant they will find a variety of items that reveal the many tactics that restaurants use to make them appear healthier, from the fake grill marks on food to the color on the walls.

The aim is to be the first fast-food restaurant that is honest, Spurlock told Today. He wants to set the record straight when it comes to being natural and healthy. In fact, Spurlock’s publicist also revealed to This Week that the restaurant will have a satirical feel to purposefully raise consumer awareness about the current state of the fast-food industry.

The masculine and feminine name Morgan is taken from an Old Welsh name Morcant that means sea defender or sea chief. The name is derived from the Welsh elements mor that means sea and cant that means circle.
