The new album by Gucci Mane, “Woptober” was released early by the artist. The excited artist posted the album cover to twitter with the caption “Droppin #Woptober tonite jack!” In fact, he appreciates his fans so much that he released the Album for free.
The project has 13 tracks and was originally scheduled for release on October 17th. This will be Gucci’s second album and features production work from the beatmaker Zaytoven, who is a longtime friend of his. Both Young Dolph and Rick Ross will be on the album, with hits like “Icy Lil B-----” and “Money Machine.”
Even though this album is going to be released early, it is not the only project Gucci is working on. He is currently in the works with Drake on a collaborative project called “The 6ers”. The project has just begun, but already Mike WiLL and Zaytoven are creating beats for it. The project just took off according to Mane, as everyone was onboard with all the ideas and we all jumped into it.
The American rapper Gucci Mane is known as Radric Delantic Davis in real life. The name Radric is a modern version of Roderick, which means “famous power”. The name is derived from two Germanic elements hrod meaning “fame” and ric meaning “power”. Whereas the name Gucci Mane came from his dad, he was given a little country name from his grandmother, because they lived in a small town in Alabama, according to Radric.
