One of the most popular Filipino actresses of the 1940s,[1] she resumed her film career in the 1970s after a two-decade long absence and remained active in the industry well into her eighties.Her film career began in 1937 after winning the Miss Luzon beauty pageant.[2] Under the stage name Fleur de Lis, she appeared in films entitled Ang Pagbabalik (The Return, 1938) and Giliw Ko (My Dear, 1939), which was the first film production of LVN Pictures.[1] It was in Giliw Ko where she appeared wearing a swimsuit, the first Filipino actress to do so.[2]

Mona Mur: is a German vocalist - born Sabine Bredy in Hamburg to Polish parents, 1960. In 1982 she first collaborated with FM Einheit, Marc Chung, and Alex Hacke, all of Einstürzende Neubauten. As "Mona Mur und die Mieter (the tenants)" they recorded the 12" Jeszcze Polska. This gained National and International attention, taking NME's Single of the Week slot and getting airplay by John Peel. The group decided to disband soon after this release.
