Mostafa Abdel Moity: was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1938. He earned a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Alexandria (Department of Painting) 1962. Immediately after graduating, he became a professor at that school. He was one of the founders of the ‘Experimental Group’ created in 1958. Abdel Moity was granted a scholarship offered by the Egyptian government for the studies on Upper Egypt, and then later for the Northern part of the Delta.
