Avard Longley Davidson: was a lawyer and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Annapolis and then Digby and Annapolis in the Canadian House of Commons from 1911 to 1921 as a Conservative. He ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the Nova Scotia assembly in 1906 and 1911. Davidson was a member of the Unionist Party from 1917 to 1921. He was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1921. He was named to the Legislative Council of Nova Scotia in 1928 to assist in its abolition. Davidson died in a collision between an automobile and a train at the age of 53.

William McCartney Davidson: was a Canadian journalist, politician, and author. Davidson was first elected to the Alberta Legislature in the 1917 Alberta general election. He defeated Conservative incumbent Samuel Bacon Hillocks by a comfortable margin to win his first term in office and represent the North Calgary electoral district. Davidson retired at the end of his first term in office to run in the 1925 Canadian federal election in Calgary East he was badly defeated finishing a distant 3rd place behind Conservative Fred Davis the winner and Labor candidate William Irvine. Davidson would seek another term in the Alberta Legislature in the Calgary electoral district as an Independent in a by-election on January 15, 1923 held after the death of Robert Edwards. He defeated Liberal candidate Clinton J. Ford to win. He retired from provincial politics for the second time in 1926.

Frederick Harvey Davidson: was the 26th Mayor of Winnipeg from 1917 to 1918. Davidson served on Winnipeg city council from 1912 to 1916 before becoming Mayor in 1917 (after the election of David J. Dyson was overturned after a recount) and served until 1918. He then served again on city council from 1920 to 1929 and again from 1932 to 1933.

Thomas Scott Davidson: was an Ontario auctioneer and political figure. He represented Brant North in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1914 to 1919 as a Liberal member. He was born in South Dumfries Township, Canada West, the son of James Davidson. He served on the council for Brant County and was warden in 1900. In 1892, he married Marion Bullock. He was an unsuccessful candidate for a seat in the federal parliament in 1926. He died in Paris, Ontario in 1933.
