Emraan Hashmi: a Filmfare Award-nominated Indian actor. Standing at 5'8", he's not the tallest actor, but he has many fans. He does come from a "film-family" He is Mahesh Bhatt's nephew. Known as the "serial kisser", he plays mostly unconventional characters and is often seen in Bhatt Films.Hashmi made his debut in 2003 with the film Footpath. However, it did not do well at the box office. He shot to fame with Murder which was the first hit for him and his Co-Star Mallika Sherawat. His next few films such as Zeher, Aashiq Banaya Apne, Kalyug, and Gangster have done well at the box office and the soundtracks in these respective films have helped create a large fan base. Amusingly, all the songs from his movies have become instant hits. The playback singers for most of his film's songs have been Himesh Reshammiya, K.K, Kunal Ganjawala and Atif Aslam.
