Price was appointed to the Senate representing the senatorial division of The Laurentides, Quebec on the advice of John Alexander Macdonald on December 1, 1888.

A 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) swingman, Evans weighs 220 lb (100 kg).Known for his strong defense and athleticism, Evans played collegiately at Wichita State University for two seasons, but philosophical differences with then-coach Randy Smithson caused him to transfer to the University of Texas at Austin. After not having been selected in the 2001 NBA Draft, he signed as a free agent for the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he played in only 10 games. In 2002, he moved to Greece to play for Olympiacos BC, and in the following, 2003-04 season he played for the Italian power Benetton Basket Treviso (winning the Italian Cup).

He played collegiately at Kansas State University where he is Kansas State's all-time leading points scorer with 2,115 points. He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the 21st pick of the 1978 NBA Draft and had a 9-year career with four different teams (the San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Denver Nuggets). He was widely regarded throughout his career as an excellent 3-point shooter, being among the league leaders in that statistical category for several years.

Reginald Jamaal Evans: is an American professional basketball player currently with the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers.He attended Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas from 1998-2000 and then transfered to the University of Iowa. He was undrafted in 2002 despite an impressive career there. In 2001, Evans led the nation in free throws attempted, free throws made, and double-doubles. He led the Big Ten Conference in rebounding in 2001 and 2002, and was named Big Ten Tournament MVP in 2001 and Second Team All-Big Ten in 2002. He was Honorable Mention All-American in 2001. He signed with the Sonics as a free-agent, where he became known for his tenacious rebounding.

Walker Evans: was an American photographer best known for his work for the Farm Security Administration documenting the effects of the Great Depression. Much of Evans' work from the FSA period uses the large-format, 8x10-inch camera. He wrote that his goal as a photographer was to make pictures that are "literate, authoritative, transcendent." Many of his works are in the permanent collections of museums, and have been the subject of retrospectives at such institutions as The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The music of Bill Evans continues to inspire younger pianists like Fred Hersch, Ray Reach, Esbjörn Svensson, Bill Charlap, David Thompson, Brad Mehldau[2], Geoffrey Keezer, Lyle Mays and Eliane Elias[3]. Evans is an inductee of the Down Beat Jazz Hall of Fame.
