He currently plays in Russia with CSKA Moscow, the reigning Russian League and Euroleague champions. He was nicknamed "The Alaskan Assassin" by the Duke Basketball Report (a fan website) because of his shooting ability, particularly beyond the 3-point line. The nickname caught on, but Langdon later mentioned his distaste for the nickname as it associates him with violence.
