Myron Floren: was an American musician best known as the accordionist on The Lawrence Welk Show between 1950 and 1982.He was highly regarded by bandleader Lawrence Welk, who was an accomplished accordion player in his own right. Myron functioned as Welk's principal assistant and second-in-command. In Floren's autobiography, Accordion Man, he recalled handling road manager duties when the band traveled, including making hotel arrangements and handling other logistics. He has been seen in a hosting role of repeats of The Lawrence Welk Show on PBS.

When calling on customers, before showing his samples, he would tell a joke in order to put everyone at ease and establish a friendly mood. Cohen's jokes were often more popular than his garment samples, and his customers urged him to become a professional comedian. He was a nightclub entertainer in the 1950s and 1960s, recording several live record albums and also frequently appearing on TV variety programs such as The Ed Sullivan Show.

A graduate of the Cleveland School of the Arts in 1995 where he majored in theater, he is best known for hits such as "Separated" (the remix to which features Kelly Rowland), "My First Love," which one version features Ketara Wyatt, and "Read Your Mind" (remix featuring Snoop Dogg on the extended promo vinyl).
