Athanasios Christopoulos: He studied at Buda and Padua, and became tutor to the children of Alexander Mourousis, Prince of Wallachia. After the fall of that prince in 1811, Christopoulos was employed by John Caradja, who had been appointed hospodar of Walachia, in drawing up a code of laws for that country.
