Jakub Deml: was a Czech Catholic priest and writer.Deml was born in Tasov near Trebíc, then Austria-Hungary, now Czech Republic. In 1902 he was ordained Roman Catholic priest, but in 1907-1908 and after 1909 he was pensioned, partly due to conflicts with his superiors. He became one of the most important Czech authors of 1920s and 1930s. Publishing of his books was prohibited after the communist coup in 1948.

Jakub Šimon Jan Ryba: was a Czech teacher and composer of classical music. His most famous work is Czech Christmas Mass "Hey, Master!" (Ceská mše vánocní "Hej mistre!").Ryba was born in Preštice near Plzen. His father was a schoolteacher, which was a very poorly paid occupation at the time. In 1780 Ryba went to Prague, where he studied at the Piarist gymnasium. His teacher Cassianus Hanel taught him music. Ryba was a very good student and he soon started to compose.

Jakub Husník: was a Czech painter, art teacher and inventor of the improved photolithography method.Husník was one of the ten children of Foersters. After the attendance of the schools in Hlavatice and Benešov , he completed the Prager six-form high school and in 1853 entered into the painter academy. He studied in Antwerp with professor Joseph Henri François van Lerius. After his return he was active in the church of Uhrínevs. 1863 he becomes a teacher at the High School in Tábor.

Joe Jakub: is a Scotish former professional footballer who played as a defender and midfielder for Burnley, Bury, AZ Alkmaar, Chester City and Wigan Athletic. Joe's career centred mainly around Burnley.[1] He joined the Turf Moor outfit as a youth player during the summer of 1972 and spent the majority of his career at the club in two spells.
