Leonor Michaelis: was a German biochemist and physician famous for his work with Maud Menten in enzyme kinetics and Michaelis-Menten kinetics.he studied medicine in Freiburg, where he graduated in 1897. He then moved to Berlin, where he received his doctorate the same year. Michaelis worked as assistant to Paul Ehrlich (1898–1899), Moritz Litten (1899–1902) and Ernst Viktor von Leyden (1902–1906). In 1906 he started as director of the bacteriology lab in Berlins Charité hospital, becoming Professor extraordinary at Berlin University in 1908.In 1914 he published a paper suggesting that Emil Abderhalden's notorious pregnancy tests could not be reproduced, a paper which fatally compromised Michaelis' position as an academic in Germany (L. Michaelis, L von Lagermark, Deutsche Med. Wochenschr. 1914, 7, 316-319). In 1922 he moved to the Medical School of the University of Nagoya (Japan) as Professor of biochemistry

Leonor Ceballos Watling: a Spanish film actress and singer.Watling was born in Madrid, Spain, of Spanish and English ancestry. She began her career in theatre and made her début in films when she was 15 with Jardines colgantes by Pablo Llorca. After that she participated in several TV series, such as Hermanos de leche, Farmacia de guardia or Querido maestro, but her most successful series was Raquel busca su sitio with Cayetana Guillén Cuervo. In 1998, she was nominated for the premio Goya for her role in La hora de los valientes, and in 2002 for A mi madre le gustan las mujeres.

Leonor Orosa-Goquingco: was a Filipino national artist in creative dance. She could play the piano, draw, design scenery and costumes, sculpt, act, direct, dance and choreograph. Her pen name was Cristina Luna and she was known as Trailblazer, Mother of Philippine Theater Dance and Dean of Filipino Performing Arts Critics. She died on July 15 2005 of "cardiac arrest secondary to cerebro-vascular accident" at the age of 87.

Léonor Graser: is a French actress, scriptwriter and film director. Graser is the daughter of Antoine Silber and Catherine Belkhodja, the Franco-Algerian actress and journalist of Kabyle and Turco-Mongol descent, the fourth child in a family of five. One of her sisters, Maïwenn Le Besco, is also an actress and film director. Her brother Jowan Le Besco, partner to Catherine Deneuve in Princesse Marie and documentary maker, was chief cameraman in Demi-tarif and Charly, two films written and directed by their sister Isild Le Besco. Her other brother, Kolia Litscher, is also an actor.
