Pawel Brozek: a Polish footballer who currently plays for Wisla Kraków as a striker.He began his career with Polonia Bialogon Kielce, together with his twin brother Piotr. He is 5' 11" tall and weighs eleven stones (70 kg). He started his career in the 1998/99 season. He went on to play for LKS Lódz and GKS Katowice, and made his debut for Wisla Kraków in April 2001.He has been capped 7 times for Poland national football team, scoring once. He was selected to the 23-men national squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals held in Germany, where he almost scored a goal against Ecuador in their 2-0 defeat, with an impressive shot that hit the post, following teammate Ireneusz Jelen's effort hitting the post as well. He made his first appearance for the Polish national team against Mexico in 2005.

From early childhood he loved soccer and was a very fast runner, so at age 14 he became a forward on the local team Wawel Wirek.In the 1930s Wawel played in Silesian A-Class, the strongest regional league in Poland (in interwar Poland, A-Class was equivalent of today’s Second Division). Cyganek was widely regarded as too good for this division and several top teams of the Polish Soccer League wanted to buy him. Among these were Slask Swietochlowice, Ruch Chorzów and Cracovia Kraków.
