Kevin Joseph Lynch: is an American basketball player. Kevin played at Bloomington Jefferson High School, leading the Jaguars to two state championships in 1986 and 1987. In 1987 the team had a perfect record as well and Kevin won both the Minnesota Mr. Basketball and Metro Player of the Year. Kevin then became a part of the first recruiting class put together by then University of Minnesota coach Clem Haskins.

John Mary "Jack" Lynch: was the fourth Taoiseach of Ireland, serving two terms in office; 1966 to 1973 and 1977 to 1979.Lynch was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a TD for Cork in 1948, and was re-elected at each general election until his retirement in 1981. He previously served as Minister for Finance (1965–1966), Minister for Industry & Commerce (1959–1965), Minister for Education (1957–1959), Minister for the Gaeltacht (1957) and as a Parliamentary Secretary. He was the third leader of Fianna Fáil from 1966 until 1979, succeeding the hugely influential Seán Lemass. Lynch was the last Fianna Fáil leader to secure (in 1977) an overall majority in the Dáil.

Alfred Cornelius Lynch: was a gay British actor on stage, film and television.In 1958 he joined the Royal Court theatre and acted in a number of plays. After 1960 his career moved more into film and television, for example appearing with Sean Connery in the 1961 film On the Fiddle and the 1965 film The Hill. He also appeared in the 1968 adaptation of The Sea Gull, and the 1990 film The Krays. Some of his later television credits include reading children's stories on Jackanory, Going Straight and the Doctor Who serial The Curse of Fenric as Commander Millington.
