Alexander Tzonis: is a Greek architect, researcher and author. He has made contributions to architectural theory, history, and design cognition bringing together scientific and humanistic approaches in a rare synthesis. Since 1975 he has been collaborating in most projects with Liane Lefaivre. In 1985 he founded and directed Design Knowledge Systems (DKS), a multidisciplinary research institute for the study of architectural methodology and the development of design thinking tools. Tzonis is known for his work on creative design by analogy, the classical canon, history of the emergence and development of modern architectural thinking, and introducing the idea of critical regionalism.

Alexander S. Onassis: was the only son of Aristotle Onassis and Athina Livanos (alternate spelling: Livanou), also known as Tina. He had one sibling, Christina Onassis, the mother of Athina Onassis Roussel. Onassis had no formal schooling nor did he have friends of his own age, and despite not being gifted academically, he was very knowledgeable about automobiles and motors, which impressed Gianni Agnelli from Fiat. As an Ephor of Antiquities, he directed a number of important excavations in Greece, including Nicopolis, Corinth, Hermione, Mycenae and Athens amongst others.
