Vitéz Károly Bartha De Dálnokfalva: was a Hungarian military officer and politician, who served as Minister of Defence between 1938 and 1942. During World War I he had several high commander offices in Budapest and Trieste. In 1919 he fought against the armies of Czechoslovakia and Romania. After the fall of the Hungarian Soviet Republic Bartha joined the National Army led by Miklós Horthy. Béla Imrédy appointed him as Minister of Defence and Bartha kept his position in the ensuing governments until 1942.

Pavao Ritter Vitezovic: was a noted Croatian writer, historian, linguist and publisher.In 1677 he wrote a treatise on the clan Gusici, published in 1681, the same year he wrote a number of poems for one Aleksandar Mikulic, a Zagreb canon. As he developed a reputation of a learned man, his native town of Senj elected him as their representative in the Hungarian diet in Sopron. On April 19, 1683, due to the efforts of Ritter Vitezovic, the diet proclaimed a charter granting the town of Senj their ancient rights, protecting them from the local military commander captain Herberstein who had terrorized the citizens at the time.

Baron Lajos Simonyi De Barbács Et Vitézvár: was a Hungarian politician, who served as Minister of Agriculture, Industry and Trade between 1875 and 1876. He studied law in Kassa. From 1847 he was a delegate on the Diet in Pest. He participated in the Hungarian Revolution of 1848, he performed courier service besides Artúr Görgey. As a result he was imprisoned for a short time. Later he was a supporter of László Teleki. Simonyi retired from the politics in 1878.
