Flavian Flavio De Melo Baptista: is a civil engineer and politician Brazil with operations in the state of Acre . His first public office was as mayor of Rio Branco (1983-1986) appointed by the governor Nabor junior whom he succeeded after the election victory in 1986. In 1990 he left the governorship and then was elected Senator . In 1994 the government of Acre ran but was defeated by Orlei Cameli . He suffered another defeat when he tried to re-election to the Senate in 1998 , this time being beaten by PT Tiao Viana . In 2000 was elected mayor of Rio Branco in the first round. However resigned in 2002 to contest the governorship again, which marked the re-election of Jorge Viana . In the election of 2006 was elected federal deputy.
