(January 19, 1895 - June 11, 1968) was a pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1919 through 1923. Boone batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Samantha, Alabama. His younger brother, Ike, also played in the major leagues from 1922-32.
Edward James
was a millwright and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Lunenburg County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1878 to 1882 as a Liberal-Conservative member. In 1853, he married Eliza Lantz. James served as captain in the local militia. He lived at Mahone Bay. James ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the provincial assembly in 1874. He died in Lunenburg at the age of 83.
