Aziz Ansari - Pioneer of 2016

There is a new romantic on television, Aziz Ansari who is the star of the new Netflix show “Master of None.” The show happens on-location in the streets of New York, where it takes a unique look at the city through Ansari’s eyes.

Each episode is unique and interesting, as Aziz has a way of bringing in his ethnicity and career into the role of Dev Shah. He has a hysterical way of looking at the entertainment industry and it comes through in the show.

In fact, the show is really different than other shows on Netflix. Ansari strives to show people that are “settled down”. He is breaking the mold when it come to expressing love on screen – taking a sentimental approach. During the “Mornings,” episode Ansari’s character spends many days with his girlfriend, which is shown in time lapse video which is very different than anything on television.

In fact, “Master of None,” was named “the year’s best comedy straight out of the gate” by the New York Times. He is also well-known for his role on “Parks and Recreation” as Tom Haverford. Ansari was also named “one of the top 100 influential personalities of 2016” by Time.
