Chris Brown Taken Into Custody

The news still doesn’t look good for Chris Brown, as he will be booked by the LAPD for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. After a lengthy and strange stand-off between police and Brown on Tuesday, the singer was taken into custody and arrested.

The spokesman, Lt. Chris Ramirez for the Los Angeles Police Department said that Brown will be transported from his home in Tarzana to downtown, L.A., where the singer will be booked formally.

Brown’s property and residence were searched after officers obtained a warrant to find a weapon that Brown was alleged to have used to threaten a woman. When the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division detective were on the premise, so was Browns lawyer Mark Geragos.

When the search warrant was executed many people exited the premise and will be interviewed to see what actually happened, stated Ramirez. The threatened woman, Baylee Curran, said that Brown had a violent outburst and pointed a gun at her. She then ran outside to call the police.

Geragos said that Brown denies that the incident happened. He even went on Instagram posting videos where he talks against his treatment in the media and by police – being portrayed as the bad guy.

The name Chris is a short form of Christopher for men, not to mention the other names that start with Chris. The name Christopher is taken from the Late Greek name Christophoros which means “bearing Christ” or “to bear, to carry” - which is suitable for Chris Brown.
