Gail Porter Opens up About Her Body

The TV personality, Gail Porter, felt uncomfortable in her own body for many years, and it caused her many problems. Her large 28JJ breasts caused her to feel like she was pregnant before she went through surgical reduction. In fact, it ruined her life and was the leading cause of her eating disorder.

Suffering from alopecia, Porter decided to have a breast reduction to make her life better. The star who is now 45-years-old said the decision has made her happier and has changed her life for the better. It was an easy decision, states Porter, as her breasts always made her feel self-conscious.

She had a womanly shape from an early age and was the first to develop out of her peers at school, from her boobs to her period, even a mustache. She was so self-conscious that she even had her 90s modeling pictures airbrushed to make her look smaller on the top half.

The feminine name Gail is a short form of Abigail taken from the Hebrew name Avigayil, which means “my father is joy”. It was the name of Nabal’s wife from the Old Testament.

The name Abigail became popular as an English name, after the Protestant Reformation among the Puritans. Abigail, from the bible, is known to refer to herself as a servant, and during the 17th century, it became a common slang word for servants. In fact, there was a play called “The Scornful Lady,” that had a character named Abigail, who was a servant.
