One of the biggest stars emerging from the Bollywood scene is Priyanka Chopra. The beautiful and talented actress has made almost 50 movies and earned many awards, like the National Film Award or the numerous Filmfare Awards.

 

Chopra made her Bollywood debut in “The Hero,” which was followed up by many more hits like “Andaaz,” “Aitraaz,” or “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi”. Then she became even more recognized for her roles in movies like “7 Khoon” or “Mary Kom”.

 

She then moved onto headline in an American series, “Quantico,” being the first South Asian woman to play in a show like this. She also produced the acclaimed drama-comedy “Ventilator,” in 2016. Chopra has ambition, drive, and self-respect and understands that working hard matters.

 

On top of her acting career, she is well-known for her philanthropic work, in education, health, environment, and women’s rights. Chopra was even appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights by UNICEF back in 2010.

 

In 2016, she was awarded with the Padma Shri, which is the fourth highest civilian award from the government. Not to mention, being named as one of the “100 most influential people in the world,” by Time magazine.
