One of the stars from “Orange is the New Black,” Samira Wiley, who plays Poussey Washington on The Netflix’s original series has just gotten engaged – to Lauren Morelli one of the show’s producers and writers. The couple posted a picture to Instagram that showed off the sparkling ring, with the caption - “Yes.”
In the breakout hit show, Wiley’s character goes through some ups and downs romantically. However, in the last season, it all takes a tragic turn for the worse.
On the other hand, Morelli also has an interesting story offscreen – during filming, she started questioning her own sexuality. Morelli was married to her boyfriend of many years, but just a few months after filming she realized that she was gay.
