Tiziana Cantone Has Killed Herself

The Italian Instagram model, Tiziana Cantone has committed suicide after being humiliated by trusted friends. After sharing some sex videos of her in various sex acts, the 31-year-old was stunned when the six videos showed up on social media and porn sites.

Ms. Cantone passed along the videos to friends in an effort of mock her ex-boyfriend, only to be the victim of her revenge porn. Not only did she change her name, move and go through a legal battle to remove the videos from the internet, but she lost her life. The video reappeared time and time again, even after being scrubbed from the search engines.

It is sad to hear that Ms. Cantone attempted suicide twice before. A criminal investigation of her death has been opened by Italian authorities.

The feminine name Tiziana is an Italian version of Tiziano, which is from the Roman cognomen Titianus that was taken from the Roman praenomen Titus. This given name is a Roman praenomen that is of unknown meaning, which is probably related to the Latin titulus or “title of honor”. However, it is more likely that it is Oscan in origin because it was from the legendary Sabine king Titus Tatius.
