Haider is a specialist medium pace bowler, whose highest score with the bat is 22, coming in a 47-run eighth-wicket partnership with Manoj Cheruparambil against Pakistan at the 2004 Asia Cup. Jörg Haider: was an Austrian politician. He was Governor of Carinthia on two separate occasions, the long-time leader of the national-conservative Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ) and later Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Austria (Bündnis Zukunft Österreich, BZÖ), a breakaway party from the FPÖ.[3]Haider was controversial within Austria and abroad for comments that were widely condemned as praising Nazi policies or as xenophobic or anti-Semitic.[4] Several countries imposed mild diplomatic sanctions against his party's government. Haider died in a car accident shortly after leading the BZÖ in the Austrian Parliamentary elections. He was driving over the speed limit while over the legal alcohol limit.[2][3]

Ernst Haider: was a German painter and graphic artist. Ernst Haider was the son of bavarian landscape artist and art professor Karl Haider and his second wife Ernestine Schwarz. He enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich and studied drawing in Angelo Jank's class together with Walther Kerschensteiner.[1] 1947 he was elected for the board of the "Kunstverein München".[2] His oevre has been on display in various locations amongst others in the elementary school Gräfelfing in a group display of the literary association Gräfelfin in April 1953.[3] Until his death he lived in the artists' colony in Stockdorf. After his death his paintings had been displayed in a retrospective in Gauting.
