Lima Azimi: an Afghan athlete.Azimi attracted international attention by representing her country at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics in Paris.[1] [2] She was the first woman to represent Afghanistan at an international sports event, following the fall of the Taliban.[3] [4] [5]She competed in the 100 metre sprint, running "in a grey T-shirt and a pair of navy-blue tracksuit bottoms".[6] She reportedly had no idea how to use the starting blocks, never having had the opportunity to train with them. Azimi finished last in her heat, with a time of 18.37 seconds - a national record, since she was the first Afghan to run such a race.[7]

Antonio Pedro Monteiro Lima: is the Permanent Representative to the United Nations for Cape Verde, taking office August 2007. He is married with five children. Monteiro Lima was the Political and Diplomatic Adviser to the President, and concurrently, Head of State's Permanent Representative to the International Organization of La Francophonie and Chairman of the National Francophonie Committee, prior to his taking office at the United Nations.
