Joseph Caron: was a Quebec merchant and political figure. He represented the Ottawa electoral district, which was later renamed Hull, in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1917 to 1923 as a Liberal. From 1906 to 1917, he was a school commissioner for Hull and also served three terms as president of the school commission. From 1907 to 1911, Caron was an alderman for Hull. Caron was first elected to the provincial assembly in an 1917 by-election held following the death of Ferdinand-Ambroise Gendron. He was reelected in 1919 but did not run for reelection in 1923. Caron died in Ottawa at the age of 86.

Jean-Baptiste Thomas Caron: was a lawyer, judge and political figure in Ontario, Canada. He represented City of Ottawa in the Canadian House of Commons from 1907 to 1908 as a Liberal. Caron was elected to the House of Commons in an 1907 by-election held after Napoléon Belcourt was named to the Senate. He ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the House of Commons in the Quebec riding of L'Islet in 1908. Caron served overseas as a captain in the Royal 22e Régiment, also known as the "Van Doos". He served as judge for the Provisional Judicial District of Cochrane from 1923 to 1939. Caron died in Ottawa at the age of 74.

Alexis Caron: was a lawyer, judge and political figure in Lower Canada. He represented Surrey in the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada from 1802 to 1804. He was elected to the assembly in an 1802 by-election held following the death of Philippe-François de Rastel de Rocheblave. Caron did not run for reelection in 1804. He married Charlotte-Gillette Pommereaux in 1807. He was named King's Counsel in 1812. Caron served as a major in the militia during the War of 1812. In 1821, he was named judge in the provincial court at Gaspé. He died in Paspébiac at the age of 62.

Augustin Caron: was a farmer and political figure in Lower Canada. He represented Northumberland in the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada from 1808 to 1809 and from 1811 to 1814. He did not run for reelection to the assembly in 1809; he was elected again in an 1811 by-election held following the death of Joseph Drapeau but did not run for reelection in 1814. Caron died in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré at the age of 83.
