Competing in two Winter Olympics, she finished sixth in the 4 × 5 km relay at Nagano in 1998 and had her best individual finish of 20th in the 15 km event in Salt Lake City in 2002.Hanušová's best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was 19th in the 5 km + 10 km combined pursuit at Ramsau in 1999. Her best World cup finish was 18th in a 5 km + 5 km combined pursuit in the United States in 2001.

Katerina Neumannová: is a retired Czech cross country skier. She originally did flatwater canoeing and downhill skiing before moving to cross country skiing at sixteen. She is one of four cross country skiers to ever compete at six Olympics.On February 17, 2005, she won the 10 km free at the Nordic skiing World Championships. Neumannová defended her 10 km free title at the following championships in Sapporo on February 27, 2007.

Katerina Smutna: is a former Czech national ski team member and currently an Austrian cross country skier. She grew up in Jablonec and after attempts with modern gymnastics became a member of ski club in the same town. She achieved many success and titles of national champion in younger and junior categories in cross country skiing as well as rollerski in the summer.In 2002 she took a part in World Junior Championship and finished 13th. Year later in 2003, she competed in Val di Fiemme as a member of Czech National cross country team. After unsatisfying result, she was accused by head coach of sabotaging the race,which was followed by sacking from national team. After several incidents and conflicts arising mainly from inflexible and old fashion management system of Czech national ski team, Katerina decided to change her citizenship and continue her sports career in Austria.
