Michael Peter Cather: is a former right-handed Major League Baseball pitcher who played three baseball seasons as a major league baseball player for the Atlanta Braves. Cather was born in San Diego, California. Cather also pitched in the organizations of the Texas Rangers, Florida Marlins, and St. Louis Cardinals.[1] He is 6' 2" in height, and 195 lb. in weight.He attended the University of California at Berkeley where he participated in college baseball. In college, he had pitched in the 1992 College World Series.[1] He was drafted in the 41st round of the 1993 free-agent draft by the Texas Rangers and was signed on June 5, 1993.[2][1] On June 14, 1995, he was released by the Texas Rangers and was purchased by the Atlanta Braves from Winnipeg (Northern) on February 2, 1996.[2]

Michael Chris: is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who attended the West Los Angeles Junior College. He appeared in games in three Major League seasons, starting approximately half of the games. The Detroit Tigers drafted him with the 10th overall pick of the 1977 Major League Baseball Draft and promoted him to the majors in 1979 to pitch in 13 games, starting eight. He did not impress, finishing with record of three wins against three losses, with a 6.92 ERA. The Tigers finally traded him to the San Francisco Giants in 1981 with Dan Schatzeder for Larry Herndon. He pitched in part of two seasons for the Tigers, but they placed him on waivers in 1983. The Chicago Cubs claimed him, but he never pitched for the Cubs, and they released him in the offseason.

Michael Eugene Couchee: is a former relief pitcher in Major League Baseball and a current minor league pitching coach with the San Diego Padres.Couchee was selected three times in baseball's amateur draft, but chose to attend college rather than sign on the first two occasions. He was chosen by the San Francisco Giants in 1976, the Minnesota Twins in 1978, and the San Diego Padres in 1980. He eventually appeared in only 8 games in relief for the Padres, all in 1983.

The last season he played prior to his death, he appeared in 105 games for the San Diego Padres, compiling a .277 batting average with 2 home runs, 34 runs batted in, and 6 stolen bases.

Darr started one game for the Blue Jays in 1977 before being sent down to play for minor league affiliates of the Blue Jays. He would finish his career in 1979, having played only one game for a major league team.
