Her personal best throw as a junior was 57.85 metres, achieved in May 2004 in Wiesbaden. She improved gradually to 59.35 metres in May 2005 and 62.93 metres in May 2007, both in Halle. She competed at the 2007 World Championships, but without reaching the final. In May 2009 she improved to 63.46 metres in a meet in Wiesbaden.
