Buddy Hackett: was an American comedian and actor. In his later life, he and his wife set up the Sinigita Animal Sanctuary in the San Fernando Valley, California.He was born Leonard Hacker in Brooklyn, New York of Jewish heritage, the son of an upholsterer. The family lived in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn at 504 Kosciuszko Street. He grew up on 54th amd 14th ave in Boropark, Brooklyn across from PS 103 . He attended Public School 103 and then went on to New Utrecht High School. After school, he held jobs with the local grocer, and answered the phone at a doctor's office. While still in high school, he began appearing in nightclubs, beginning with the "Borscht Belt" resorts in the Catskills. His first performance was at the Golden Hotel in Hurleyville, and he claims not to have gotten one laugh.

Buddy Wayne Knox: was an American singer and songwriter best known for his 1957 rockabilly hit song, "Party Doll".Knox was born in the tiny farming community of Happy, Texas and as a boy learned to play the guitar. In his teens, he and some high school friends formed a band called the "Rhythm Orchids." After performing on the same 1956 radio show as fellow Texan Roy Orbison and his "Teen Kings" band, Orbison suggested Knox go see record producer Norman Petty at his studio in Clovis, New Mexico, the same studio where the legendary Buddy Holly recorded several of his early hits including "That'll Be The Day".
