Joaquín Bernardo Calvo Rosales: Bernardine Joaquin Bald Rosales was a Costa Rican politician, born in Carthage, Costa Rica, in 1799. His first wife was Juana Vicenta Fernandez and Quirós and he remarried to Rescuer Mora and Perez. He studied in Carthage with the Bachelor Rafael Francisco Osejo. He was temporary General Minister of Costa Rica of 1827 to 1835 and Political Head of the Eastern Department in 1835. Of his participation in the War of Liga (civil war of 1835) he was in favor during a time exiled in Nicaragua.
