Frances Reid: is an American actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Alice Horton, a character on the American soap opera Days of our Lives since its debut in November 1965.Frances Reid was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, but grew up in Berkeley, California. Her acting career started in 1938 with a bit part in the movie Man-Proof. She played Roxane opposite Jose Ferrer's Cyrano in the 1946 Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac.

He was born to a father of European descent and a mother from the Haida (one of the First Nations of the Pacific coast) in Victoria, British Columbia. He developed a keen interest in Haida art while working as a radio announcer in Toronto, where he also studied jewelry making, having first learnt about his heritage from his maternal grandfather, who had himself been trained by Charles Edenshaw, a Haida artist of great renown.
