Along with his sister-in-law Anousheh Ansari, he made a multi-million dollar contribution to the X PRIZE foundation on May 5, 2004, the 43rd anniversary of Alan Shepard's sub-orbital spaceflight. The X PRIZE was officially renamed the Ansari X PRIZE in honour of their donation.Amir, along with his brother Hamid and sister-in-law Anousheh Ansari, founded Telecom Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in 1993, and served as the company's CTO. TTI was acquired by Sonus Networks, Inc. in 2000.

He began his career with still photography for some notable Iranian features. In the 1970s, Naderi turned to directing, and made some of the most important features of the New Iranian Cinema. In 1971, his directorial debut, Goodbye Friend was released in Iran. Mr. Naderi first came into the international spotlight with films that are now known as cinema classics, The Runner (1985), and Water, Wind, Dust (1989). The Runner is considered by many critics to be one of the most influential films of the past quarter century

Amir-Shahab Razavian: an Iranian film director, filmmaker and producer.Razavian began his cinematic activities at Hamedan Amateur Film-making Centre in 1980 while still studying at high-school (at Ebn-e Sina [1] High School in Hamadan). He obtained his degree in film directing from College of Theatre and Cinema of Art University in 1990. From the same College he received in 1995 his post-graduate degree in animation. Since then he has produced seventy short films, directed thirty documentary and short films, and three feature films. The latter are The Journey of the Grey Men (Safar-e Mardan-e Khakestari), Tehran, Seven O'clock in the Morning (Tehran Sa'at-e Haft-e Sobh) and Colors of Memory (with the original title Mina-ye Shahr-e Khamoush, The Mina of the Extinguished Town).[2] [3]
