Åge Aleksandersen: is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is one of his country's most famous singer/songwriters, musicians. Some of his most well known songs are "Lys og Varme" (Light and Warmth), "Fire Pils og en Pizza" (Four Pilseners and a Pizza) and "Rosalita". He also wrote and performed the official song of the 1997 Nordic skiing World Championship (held in Trondheim) together with two other musicians from the region, Ulf Risnes and Bjarne Brøndbo and the Nidaros Cathedral Boys' Choir. The song was called "Snørosa" (The Snowrose).

Åge Ellingsen: a former Norwegian ice hockey player. Ellingsen, nicknamed "the Moose", played nine seasons with Storhamar in Norway from 1983 to 1994. In 1987/88 he played for Björklöven in the Swedish Elite League (SEL), together with fellow Norwegian Erik Kristiansen.

Åge Bernhard Grutle: is a Norwegian diplomat and royal servant.He was a deputy under-secretary of state in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1999 to 2003, and the Norwegian ambassador to Japan from 2004 to 2009. In 2005 he led the insight committee on how the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami. In 2009 Grutle was appointed as the Lord Chamberlain at the Norwegian Royal Court.
