Antonín Tucapský: is a Czech composer. Since 1975 he lives in Great Britain.Tucapský studied in Brno before beginning his career as composer, teacher and conductor. From 1950 to 1951 he studied Choral Conducting at the Janácek Academy of Music and Performing Arts, Brno. In 1951 he graduated from Masaryk University, Brno, in Music Education and Musicology. Privately he studied composition with Jan Kunc, who was a pupil of Leoš Janácek. In 1951 he took up a teaching post at the Higher Music School in Kromeríž. In the same year he became a member of the well-known Moravian Teachers’ Male Voice Choir, from 1964 to 1972 he was a choirmaster of that choir. In 1955 Antonín Tucapský moved to Nový Jicín

He won two silver medals at the 1933 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Innsbruck (Nordic combined and 4 x 10 km).Barton finished 6th in the Nordic combined event at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. He finished also 16th in the shorter cross-country skiing event, 10th in the 50 kilometre event and 21st in the ski jumping competition.

AB decided to search for work and was successful in getting a 3-year contract with Bardey et Compagnie (Bardey & Co.). They were working in the city of Aden as exporters of Yemeni coffee brought from North Yemen. He borrowed a sum of money from his brother-in-law to buy clothes worthy of mild tropical weather and to buy a ticket to Aden, because he was penniless. He took a ship from the port of Marseille bound for Aden, and that was in April 1899.

Alfredo Antonini: was a leading Italian/American symphony conductor and composer who was active on the international concert stage as well as on the CBS radio and television networks from the 1930s through the 1960s.During the 1940s he distinguished himself as a conductor of several leading orchestras while performing on the CBS radio network. These included: the CBS Pan American Orchestra (1940 - 1949), the Columbia Concert Orchestra (1940 - 1949) and the CBS Symphony Orchestra. He also conducted live radio broadcasts of the popular program Viva America on the CBS radio network and La Cadena de las Americas (Network of the Americas) in collaboration with such noted artists as Nestor Chayres (Mexican tenor aka "El Gitano De Mexico") and John Serry, Sr. (concert accordionist). He appeared with Nestor Chayres (tenor) at the Night of the Americas Concert series at Carnegie Hall. His performances with the Carnegie Hall Pops Orchestra at Carnegie Hall were eagerly anticipated by the general public.
