Boleslaw Polnar: is a Polish graphic artist and painter.Although well endo-wed with all forms of art, it is painting, drawing and poster, which has become his artistic domain. Being well known in native Poland and abroad, he holds many awards, both domestic and foreign, springing from his rare talent and unique, unpretentious style. He has enjoyed his work being exhibited in galleries and museums long before his graduation from art school. Today, majority of his work can be found in various private collections thorough Europe and US as well as in some museums.

Boleslaw Limanowski: was one of the first and one of the most outstanding Polish socialist politician, as well as historian and journalist.He began to be politically active during his studies in Vilnius and was arrested by Russian police in 1861 for expressing patriotic views. He was still in prison, when the January Uprising began in 1863, so he couldn’t take part in the fighting. Released from prison in 1867, he moved to Lviv, where he was working as a journalist, expressing socialist views and became the secretary to Rudolf Günsberg, Professor of Applied Chemistry for one year.

Boleslaw Wyslouch: was a Polish nobleman[1], peasant advocate, a socialist, a senator and co-establisher of the original Polish Peasants Party.In 1885 Wyslouch moved to Lviv, where together with his wife Maria he ran a monthly newspaper, Przeglad Spoleczny until it was stopped by the Austrian officials in 1887. He then created Przyjaciel Ludu (People's Friend), a new left-wing newspaper which became popular with activists for peasant rights and which became the centre of the popular movement in the Austrian partition[2].
