Fortunato "Fort" Acuña: is a former Filipino professional basketball player and coach in the Philippine Basketball Association. He played center for the University of the Philippines and the Manila Industrial and Commercial Athletic Association (MICAA). When the Philippine Basketball Association began he was one of the pioneers being elevated by the Toyota Comets along with the likes of Sonny Jaworski, Ramon Fernandez and Francis Arnaiz. In 1978 at age 30 he retired.

He had a studio near the corner of Kearney and Clay Streets that was a gathering place for Mexican exiles, a place of intellectual ferment and the occasional brawl. Among his students were Toby Rosenthal and Ransom Holdredge.
